Twinsies!

It's a striking resemblance. I was always told that my heritage included, English and French roots but maybe I'm part.......Spacek. How can it be that my celebrity look-a-like is a little known (sorry Spach) NHL defenseman.

I guess I have to confess that I actually kind of like looking like Spacek. Not to be, but we're both so cute! We have a cute jack-o-lantern type look.

You know he's charming too! When Joe had his jersey signed by Spacek at Dave and Adam's Joe over-heard the following conversation:

Dad- "My son plays number 6! Tell him son!"

Kid - "I play number 6."

Spacek--thick Spacho accent - "Six is good number."

Brilliant! I think the wit runs in the family.

Break-Away Berrier

Finally got my hands on some of that new Ryan Miller flavored ice cream yesterday.

There is a picture of Ryan Miller on the carton, wearing his helmet over his face.

"Hey guess what, we're putting your picture on a carton of ice cream."

"Awesome!"

"You'll be wearing a hockey mask."

"Oh bummer."

Anyways, Joe says, 'well, that's all anyone wants to see of his face.'

I think that's mean. I like to look at Millsey's crooked eyes and terse smile.

So, the ice cream was good. It's dark chocolate with raspberry swirls and fudge chunks. It was super rich. I imagined that Millsey very carefully choose the flavors.

But the name. Not so good. From my casual observation Miller, whom I love, certainly tried his best but wasn't really a 'Barrier' or 'Berrier' to too many breakaways this season. I thought of some better names like:

Thibault Ride-the Pine-apple swirl

VERY SERIOUS AND CONCENTRATED ICE CREAM

Win the Game for Grandma- tutti- frutti

Cross-eyed Coconut

Very refined and stylish Mint and Chip

Those were some ideas thrown around by Jenny and I.

Also trying not to stress about having to pick a new team to cheer for in the Play-off's. I think I'll take a wait and see attitude but I'm leaning towards Montreal because they seem like the real-deal 'old time hockey' type club. They might also have the potential for good beard growing.

Hmmmm....

No Beard Barrier
Beard Berrier
Smooth Faced Sherbert?
